Learn more about Aftermath: Exhibition tour and discussion, Wednesday 20th March

Please join us for the Aftermath exhibition tour and discussion, 2pm, this Wednesday 20th March.

The linked exhibitions by Sophie Hayes and Huma Mulji explore the artists’ shared interest in how the representation of place can be used as a vehicle for the communication of psychological and emotional states.

Aftermath brings together Sophie’s new work – which uses sound to radically author the viewer’s psychological perception of the photographic representation of a mundane location – with Huma’s site-specific installation, that suggests the devastated aftermath of human displacement through sculpture and material intervention.

If you’d like to learn more about the project please meet the artists and curator and Foreground Director Simon Morrissey at 2pm this Wednesday 20th March for the Aftermath exhibition tour. We will view the exhibitions together and have an informal discussion / Q&A session, where you can ask questions in a relaxed atmosphere.

Please meet for 2pm start at KIT FORM, which is located on the ground floor of Jamaica Street Studios, 39 Jamaica Street, Stokes Croft, Bristol, BS2 8JP.

Please note this is an exhibition tour that requires moving between 2 venues 5 minutes apart. It is not a seated event. Event free to all. No booking required.
