Jack Latham
Jack Latham’s work explores photography’s capacity to re-contextualise subject matter in order to question received narratives and interrogate how images themselves influence our understanding.
Often working with documentary photography, Latham investigates multi-layered events – conspiracy theories inspired by an annual meeting of elites in North America, an unresolved double murder investigation in Iceland – in a way that embraces their contradictions and ambiguities.
Latham is a member of Document and Location, Foreground’s research programme produced in collaboration with the University of the West of England.
